    9 GBGP basic code is heavily based on the Met Office's ''GWVBUFR'' package originally developed for the EUMETNET ''E-GVAP'' project, but with the build system, testing and formal release procedures and user support (Help Desk) following those of the ROPP ROM SAF deliverable. GBGP is currently in development as a first prototype to be released by the end of CDOP-2 (February 2017) and will be brought to full operational status early in CDOP-3. It will be available to users via via the [http://www.romsaf.org/files.php ROM SAF web pages].
