A  simple ""subroutine message_get_roppVersion(roppMajorNumber,
roppMinorNumber, roppReleaseNumber, roppErrorCode)""
could do this (as indicated in the attached file ropp_utils_messages.f90 (line 128).
Is there a chance to include such a routine in the next release?
