Description

Add option to read non-MSIS 'climatology' bending angle profile from an input netCDF file, e.g. an ECMWF background, or define an expoential function.

Status: new → closed

New functionality added to ropp_pp module to read in background data for ionospheric correction. See [2243].

Tested using ECMWF background (in ROPP netCDF format file) on a few random profiles. The functionality is now in place for more rigorous investigations of the sensitivity to background/climatology in the ionospheric correction in future.

Ticket closed as fixed.
