Description
Several tickets, including #574, have revealed that the current level of testing is not good enough. The whole area needs re-examining. Possible aspects include:
- Make ropp_io run through the same rigorous, quantitative testing as the other modules. #273 refers.
- Introduce more tests of various options, e.g. of the EUM data readers. #574 refers.
- Update the tests in the Test Folder, e.g. to process GNOS data, to process EUM data, and to no longer test the obsolete RS data reader.
- Update all the data for the Test Folder to use more recent files from the operational centres.
